The Russia-focused explorer added that it has received anumber of approaches since its former chairman and current significantshareholder, Maksat Arip, expressed an interest in a buyout on 30 July.

“Sincethat time, the company has received additional preliminary and conditionalapproaches in relation to an acquisition,” Exillon wrote.

“Accordingly,the board of Exillon has unanimously decided to conduct a strategic review ofthe company's options, including a potential sale of the company.”
