Speaking at the 2013 Australasian Oil & Gas Conference in Perth, Western Australia, Douglas-Westwood’s Singapore director Jason Waldie said natural gas was becoming increasingly important as oil was getting more difficult and expensive to extract.
“The larger demands for energy and constrains of supply of cheap oil has moved us towards deeper waters, has moved us towards a push for gas as opposed to oil, and has moved us towards the offshore,” he said on Wednesday.
