LNG deals in the region have historically dealt primarily with stranded gas and wereforged among only a handful of small companies and countries.
But the type andnumber of partners has expanded and broadened in recent years, Itochu group advisor ToddPeterson told a panel at the LNG 360 Forum Latin America & Caribbean onWednesday in Houston.
“It’s changing every day now, and heading towards LNGbecoming more of a commodity than a very specialised product like it used to be,”Peterson said.
