The US supermajor has picked up the Rowan Gorilla IV through May 2014 a rate in the low $200,000 range, Rowan said inits latest fleet-status report.
That will follow an ongoing contract with Walter Energy in the region that runs through April 2014 at a rate in the high $180,000 range, Rowan also indicated.
The bookings indicate continued strength in the Gulf of Mexico jack-up market, analysts from Cowen Securities said in a note.
