The US supermajor announced on Tuesday that natural gas production had commenced from the Tuna field via two new pipelines, and oil is being produced from the Turrum field through the offshore Marlin B platform.
Gas associated with the Turrum oil production will be re-injected into the field until the Longford gas conditioning plant, on the coast of the Australian state of Victoria, is brought on line in 2016.
