The Irving, Texas-headquartered oil giant saw a flow rate of around 590 barrels per day of oil in the last hour of a 24-hour flow period when testing the vertical discovery well Mono Arana 1, its junior partner Canacol Energy revealed.
Canacol Energy chief executive Charle Gamba said the results “demonstrate that the reservoir where it is naturally fractured is capable of good natural flow rates”.
