The Irish junior has also farmed into the Shanagarry licensing option, which lies east of the Kinsale gas field and Providence Resources’ Barryroe oilfield.
In the North Celtic Sea, the company has an 18-month licensing option on blocks 49/7, 49/8, 49/9, 49/12 and 49/13, which requires the re-mapping and review of existing seismic data. The option also has the potential to extend by a further 18 months, subject to a satisfactory work programme being agreed with the Irish Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources.
