Executive vice president for exploration and production MattFox said that the beginning of production was the third major start up for theHouston-based explorer in recent months after Norway’s Ekofisk South and Canada’sChristina Lake Phase E oil sands project.
“Jasmine is one of several major growth projects that willcontribute to ConocoPhillips’ 3% to 5% production growth rate through 2017,” hesaid.
ConocoPhillips said it expects net production to be around40,000 boe per day next year.
