Netherlands-based Heerema Fabrication Group is handling engineering, procurement, construction and installation work for the platform and cut first steel on the 4500-tonne topsides at its fabrication facility in Opole, Poland.
The Alba B3 compression platform will comprise the topsides and a four-legged 2000-tonne jacket, which will be fabricated at the Heerema Zwijndrecht and Heerema Vlissingen yard, respectively.
The nodes and plate girders of the topsides will be fabricated at HFG Polska yard and fitted at the Zwijndrecht yard.
