Upstream understands Italy’s Saipem and a consortium between Pal Indonesia and India’s Larsen & Toubro have pulled out of the contest, leaving six others comprising participating interests from Indonesian players to compete for the turnkey contract tied to the West Madura Offshore platform trio.
Indonesian pair Rekayasa Industries and Raga Perkasa Ekaguna submitted two separate bids but nominated the same yard, Sumatra-based Han Jung, for the fabrication scope.
