Flex and Samsung have been working together for years on floating LNG vessels, and Flex said it had invested $458.7 million on four shipbuilding contracts with Samsung; contracts that are no longer being performed.
Flex said it had been unable to agree with Samsung on the amount of capital to be redeployed into new contracts so Flex had requested the remaining capital be refunded.
