Freeport-McMoRan secure Moroccan rig

Joint venture partner Pura Vida Energysaid a rig share agreement had been signed with Kosmos Energy for the drillshipAtwood Achiever Deepwater.

Freeport-McMoRan will use the first rigslot to drill the Toubkal-1 well, which is expected to spud in January nextyear.

It will use the second slot to drillanother well in the second half of 2015.

“We are now two years into the workprogram for the Mazagan permit,” Pura Vida managing director DamonNeaves said.
