The coming years will see tens of thousands of people joining the industry as employees and contractors and these increased headcounts will mean new logistical challenges in training and sustaining an effective workforce, according to Deloitte.
As organisational structures become more complex, it will become more difficult to maintain cohesive cultures and to establish the necessary connections across teams to solve problems, said Deloitte national oil and gas leader Mike Lynn.
