Gas2Grid revealed on Thursday it hadreceived approval from the Philippine Department of Energy and said initial oilproduction would likely start next month once the crew and equipment had beenmobilised to site.
The company is carrying out an extended productiontest on the well to confirm the commerciality of the Malolos oilfield andjustify the DOE awarding a 25-year production period which will lead to a fullfield appraisal and development.
