The Russiangas giant, which has been spearheading the Arctic scheme alongside foreignpartners Total and formerly Statoil, is also close to completing documents forfront-end engineering and design of offshore facilities for the Barents Seafield, Gazprom said in a statement.
The LNGfacility, with capacity of 30 million tonnes per annum, is planned forconstruction in the Orlovka River valley near Teriberka.
“As partof the onshore facilities design development, tender documents have beenprepared in order to hold a bidding procedurein 2013 for designing an LNG plant,” the company stated.
