The Russian operator of the field in Wasit provinceis also aiming for an average of 15,000 barrels per day this year, Reutersreported.
First deputy chief executive Vadim Yakovlevsaid: “We plan to start production in spring ... the target of this year is toreach output of 15,000 barrels per day.”
Gazprom Neft recently began test production atthe field with the BD4 appraisal well flowing at 7000 bpd from six horizons.
