The Moscow-based outfit is to snap up Kyrgystan’s Kyrgyzgaz as the home country struggles with the supply of gas, Reuters reported.
"If in the first quarter of next year Gazprom becomes the owner of Kyrgyzgas, we will have no stoppages of gas supplies," the news wire quoted President Almazbek Atambayev as telling his annual news conference on Monday.
"As a citizen and president, I do not cling to Kyrgyzgas.
