Spain's Tecnicas Reunidas has scooped the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning deal for the development of the Touat field in the south-west of the country.
The contract, for which no value was given by joint venture operator Groupement TouatGaz, is for the first phase of development of the field for which approval was won four years ago.
The first phase will incude the building of an industrial natural gas treatment complex and collection system.
