The agreement, signed earlier this month, will focus on technologies to help Pemex boost productivity and efficiency in mature onshore fields and to develop deep and ultra-deep water projects.
The tie-up comes as Mexico attempts to overhaul its energy sector to entice international operators to its oilfields.
"As Mexico implements major energy reforms to expand development of the country’s offshore and onshore oil and gas reserves, while encouraging greater private investment, the new collaboration will help ensure that the technology needed to accomplish these goals is available," GE said in a statement on Monday.
