GE Oil & Gas will supply Petronas with four of its PGT25+G4 gas turbine generator systems, two PGT25+G4 gas turbine-driven compressor units and two electric motor-driven centrifugal compressors modules.
GE said it will deliver its equipment to Malaysia by August of next year.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The award "takes advantage" of a global frame agreement signed between the US energy conglomerate and the state-owned operator in 2009, GE said in a statement on Monday.
