The Latin America-focussed Canadian junior said its Bretana Norte 95-2-1XD well flowed at a rate of 1984 barrels of oil per day on a 64/64 inch choke during a 1.5 hour test.
The heavy-oil production, rated at 18.5 degrees API, came on a natural flow without pumps and 0% water cut.
That result came after the company first completed a 19-hour test on the well on a 46/64 inch choke, which produced rates of 1170 barrels of oil per day.
