The environmentalwatchdog pointed to a note from Russia’s Ministry of Emergencies whichindicates that a subsidiary of the oil giant currently has no updated oil spillresponse plan for its operations in the Pechora Sea.

Gazprom Neft Shelf, the Gazprom subsidiary which operatesthe Prirazlomnoye oilfield, currently has the Prirazlomnaya platform in place.The field was discovered in 1989 and has recoverable reserves of some 511million barrels.
