Following a major overhaul in Rotterdam, the vessel came back online at the weekend, Maersk Oil UK's managing director Martin Rune Pedersen said.
Production is expected to ramp up to about 20,000 barrels per day in the coming months.
“The storm and resultant damage was a distressing and unwelcome event but along with critical repairs we have succeeded in using this incident to bring forward an upgrade of the installation and extend the productive life of Gryphon for another decade,” said Pedersen.
