Moore, who had been acting as interim chief executive sincePalm’s departure, was chosen following an internal and external search by theOklahoma City-based explorer and Preng & Associates.
He is also joining the board of directors following thepromotion, which came after a 13-year stint as chief financial officer.
The Utica shale-focused explorer has also promoted the chiefoperating officer of its Ohio activities, J Ross Kirtley, as chief operatingofficer for the whole company.
