Senior technical and management staff from Halliburton will serve on Gubkin's Industry Advisory Boards and will help shape Gubkin's unconventional curriculum "that will become the basis for student and industry training", the company said in a statement.
Halliburton and the university will also jointly pursue research and development opportunities with the Russian oil and gas industry and "explore basic applied research opportunities in conventional and unconventional resource development".
