Canada’s CHC Helicopter, Bristow Group ofthe US and UK-based player Avincis Group are looking to identify best practicefor helicopter operations both in the air and on the ground following the 23August accident off Shetland and other such incidents in the North Sea inrecent years.
The launch of the review came a day after UK, Norwegian and European authorities began their own review into helicopter safety, with the findings to be revealed early next year.
