CHC, Bristow and Bond have all halted use of their EC225 Super Pumas and AS332L2 helicopters after the incident involving a CHC-operated aircraft.

Bond Offshore said on Wednesday it would “await more detailed information concerning the cause of the incident” before resuming flights with the Eurocopter-manufactured aircraft.

Chief executive Richard Mintern acknowledged that the decision may cause inconvenience to customers but stressed the company would not compromise on safety standards.

Bristow
