Local media reported the two workers were killed after being struck by an electrical wire.
The Houston Chronicle said paramedics reportedly rushed them to a local hospital.
Maverick company secretary Andrew Crawford said the incident was still under investigation and could not give further information on the nature of the incident.
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon, local time at one of the company’s operated sites in Houston, Crawford confirmed.
