Pertamina Hulu's president director Ingnatius Tenny Wibowo said at the Asia OTC 2014 conference that his company has 14 permits categorised as being prospective for coalbed methane gas, and that the company was starting to work in the area of CBM and shale gas.
Medco Energi chief executive Lukman Mahfoedz said also that Indoesia's unconventional gas play was a new area of opportunity in the country that Medco is keen to pursue.
