Sunday’s fire is not believed to be linked to a blaze on 17January at the same platform, which prompted the Health & Safety Executive(HSE) to serve the operator with two safety warnings.
CNR said the latest fire was discovered on Tiffany’sproduction deck at 11am and described it as “small and localised”. Outputremains shut-in.
“The fire was extinguished by the platform’s fixed systemsand emergency response team.
