Intermoor said the equipment for the semi-submersible production unit will include 12 suction pile anchors, mooring lines and associated equipment, all to be fabricated at its facility in Morgan City, Louisiana.
Each of the suction piles, designed as permanent anchors for the project, will be 85 feet long and 16 feet in diameter, each weighing about 150 metric tonnes, the company said in a statement Tuesday.
