The fire resulted in the injury of two workers, who remain hospitalised, as well as the shutting in of gas production from the West Tavaputs field in the Ulinta basin.
Bill Barrett said in a statement on Wednesday night (Denver time) that the fire had been extinguished and damage was limited to the compressor station site.
