The Sharjah-based player, which lastweek changed name from Gulmar Offshore, is also in the hunt for some secondhand ROV support vessels as it looks to beef up its fledgling fleet.
Iremis, which is fully-controlled by US private equity firm Oaktree Capital Management, currently has four units in its fleet comprising two diving-support vessels and a pair of multi-purpose support vessels. While the latter pair are 2011 builds, the others are over 35 years old, though have undergone some conversion work since initial delivery.
