These licences permit the Kazakhstan-focused company to produce oil from the J-51 and J-53 wells to be sold into the domestic market for a maximum of three years.
However, Jupiter said on Thursday that it planned to develop the required infrastructure to move the wells from trial to full production, which would allow export oil sales, sooner than three years.
The J-51 well is now expected to resume production at about 600 barrels per day, while the J-53 well undergoes an acid wash following workover operations at the site.
