Keppel said it acquired a 35% share in PV Drilling Overseas Company (PVDO) from fellow Singaporean Falcon Energy Group for US$350.
Falcon retains a 10% stake and the majority shareholder with 55% is Vietnamese drilling contractor PetroVietnam Drilling and Well Services (PV Drilling).
Keppel Fels said on Wednesdayit had received an order from PVDO for a new KFels B Class jack-up, scheduled for delivery in the first quarter of 2015.
