The US$400 million contract will seeWorleyParsons help KOC achieve optimum capacity in its oilfields andenhance its facilities.
The Australian company will provideproject management, co-ordination, planning, design, engineering,construction management, contracting, procurement, project controlsand other services for construction of new facilities, up-grading ofexisting facilities and transfer of technology.
"This contract is important tosupport KOC's comprehensive on-going programme of major projects and is considered critical tothe day-to-day business and future development of the company's facilities,” KOC deputychief executive of major projects and technical services, EsamAl-Houti, said.
