The well reached its total depth on 30 December, reaching a depth of 1428 meters.
According to partner Singapore-listed RH Petrogas, during drilling oil shows were observed from cutting samples and two cores were cut from the well.
Logging operations are currently underway and production testing will follow if log analysis confirms the presence of hydrocarbons.
