Earlier this week, Iraq’s Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs HusseinShahristani said in a televised address that the KRG had agreed to use theIraqi State Oil Marketing Organisation (Somo) for crude exports.
According to Reuters, KRGspokesperson Safeen Dizayee said, however: "Absolutelywe have not reached any agreement to export oil via SOMO. The dialogue anddiscussions are still under way.”
