The Norwegian engineering and construction contractor will carry out design of the jackets, risers and templates for the field as part of Aker’s front-end engineering and design contract worth Nkr650 million ($105.6 million), awarded by pre-development operator Statoil late last year.
The work will be performed this year by about 20 personnel within the Kvaerner Jacket Technology unit. No value was disclosed for the contract.
