The US-based rig owner has signed for two firm high-specification Le Tourneau-design units at $195 million each.
The Super 116E-class rigs will be able to drill in water depths of up to 340 feet and to drilling depths of up to 30,000 feet.
Both will be built at Lamprell's Hamriyah facility, with deliveries in the second and third quarters of 2016.
Ensco said the full firm contract price - inclusive of commissioning, systems integration testing and project management - is $430 million.
