The US Department of Energy has granted authorisation for the company’s subsidiary Magnolia LNG to export an extra 4 mtpa of LNG from its proposed site in Louisiana.
Initial export approval for the Magnolia LNG project was received early last year, allowing the company to export to FTA countries.
Authorisation for export is valid for first LNG sales expected to start within 10 years, and then for 25 years after that.
