LNG Ltd will make the placement of the 90 million shares in two tranches, with the second placement subject to shareholder approval.
Shares will be issued at A$0.55 per share.
MLNG will now be fully funded to financial close which is expected to be finished by mid-2015.
The placement received very strong demand from existing Australian shareholders and a group of US shareholders.
