The government of Neuquen province has extended the concession to 8 November 2014 to its Curamhuele block, in which it has a 90% working interest, Madalena said in a statement.
Madalena is working this year to delineate unconventional targets including the Vaca Muerta, lower Agrio and Mulichinco formations in its 135,000 acre position, which also includes the Coiron Amargo and Cortadera blocks.
