The Calgary-based, Turkey-focused company has made two notable discoveries of Miocene-aged gas in the Thrace basin so far. Its Destan-2 wells, drilled in 2011, hit 95 metres of net Miocene gas over four intervals.

This year, the company's Poyraz-1 exploration well discovered 107 metres of liquids-rich gas, also Miocene-aged.
