Masirahrevealed it flowed light oil at a rate of 3000 stock tank barrels perday, with no water production, during a 48-hour test.
“Thesuccessful testing will allow us to deepen our knowledge andunderstanding of the offshore geology in the east of Oman and assistin our decisions on our further exploration, appraisal anddevelopment plans for this 17,000-square- kilometre block,” Masirahchairman Hans Lidgren said.
