The SAGW-7 appraisal wellwas drilled to a total depth of 1438 metres with electric logs indicating 24metres of net pay in four Triassic reservoirs over a 117 metre gross intervalbetween 1172 and 1289 metres.
Max noted this included ninemetres of net oil pay in three upper reservoirs and five metres of net gas payin one lower reservoir.
It added that reservoirquality was “excellent” with porosities ranging from 15% to 27% and said itplanned to start testing the well as soon as possible.
