The company said on Tuesday it had spudded both the SAGW-14 well on its Sagiz West field and the UTS-9 probe on its Uytas field.
SAGW-14 is the seventh well to be drilled at Sagiz West and is designed to test the southern end of the Sagiz West structure. It will be drilled to about 1400 metres deep and will target Triassic-aged reservoirs, Max said.
