Petroleum & Energy Minister Tord Lien discussed Germany’s energy policy revamp with his German counterpart Sigmar Gabriel at a meeting in Berlin on Friday at which he promoted the role of Norwegian gas.
Speaking after the meeting, Gabriel underlined that Norwgian gas would play an important role in Germany’s security of energy supply in the future, while also lauding the transparency of Norway’s oil and gas licensing regime.
