Following landmark energy reform passed this month, Mexico could carry out a competitive round for new deep-water acreage as soon as 2016, according to a report out this week.
"This year, we Mexicans have decided to overcome myths and taboos in order to take a large stride toward the future," Pena Nieto said in a speech at the National Palace according to Dow Jones.
