Water Standard, which is backed by private equity players Och-Ziff Capital Management and the Ospraie Special Opportunities Fund, is seeking to expand use of its H2Ocean Spectrum technology to treat water before it is re-injected into reservoirs to boost recovery.
The technology allows operators to use seawater, brackish or produced water for re-injection and provides the ability to change the output water quality and salinity, chief executive Amanda Brock told Upstream.
